In these messages, mother and father inspired kids to consider occasions and conditions from the perspective and wishes of others. At instances these occasions had been about children’s kind actions that made mother and father joyful or met their wants, something that oldsters noted made them feel pleased and grateful. In different words, mother and father shared how children’s prosocial actions might make others really feel grateful as properly. To higher understand parent-child conversations about gratitude and missed alternative experiences, we used a qualitative approach to address three key questions.
